Problem with service for latest protein change!

Hi, bit of a problem with the last protein change. I've got two clients running as a service. As far as I can tell, they did not auto-update, and I had to do this by hand. Personally, for me this was not too big of a problem, though it is an annoyance.

However, there is another member on my team who has it running on 10 machines at work, and that definitely is a big nuisance.

We can't be expected to babysit our clients.

That's about it. Please treat this seriously as not only is work not being done, it is a pain and demoralizing.

I saw similar things. I think the new servers are cranky. The best thing I found (even though its a pain for multiple machines) is to shut down the client and try again in a few minutes. You can be uploading stats fine one time, and then a couple minutes later the server will time-out... Its almost like it occurs every other time.

There was some down time while we changed IPs of the main server but I believe it should have auto-updated by itself if you had left it alone, once the DNS change propagated to your machines. Anyways, the IP will not be changing anymore in the forseeable future.

It was still acting up earlier today in talking to the server. We'll see if it settles out the next couple days.
