With the new client you can cache upto 50 WU's

Would it be possible to download the cached WUs and transfer it to a work PC that is on 24/7.

I don't see why not.

You could load up several instances of Lifemapper on the PC with the internet connection and get 50 WU's on each one.
This could be transferred via CD to other PC's for crunching and back again for uploading.

The only problem I can think of is that the WU's are very large, nearly 500k each and would take ages to download via modem.

I'll try DL 50 WUs and get it on a 24/7 machine tonight/tomorrow. That will be some help.
