CB stats error
not sure where exactly to post this but i have an error on my stats.
see Empty_5oul @ AMD Users. ( http://stats.free-dc.org/new/teamsta...team=AMD+Users ) i have recently received a score of -19,000,000,000 which from my knowlege is impossible in chessbrain.
if you could check this i would be greatful.
thanks.

Hi Empty_Soul.
I'm afraid this has come up many many times. It's caused by errors on the stats pages I pull the data from at chessbrain.net.
Unfortunately there is very little I can do about it, I can only display the results that chessbrain put out in their files...
These are the files I use
http://www.chessbrain.net/stats/users.txt
http://www.chessbrain.net/stats/teams.txt
http://www.chessbrain.net/stats/machines.txt
Bok
p.s. if you can get anything out of the project admins, then we could fix it, but no-one has had any responses for quite some time I believe. I've emailed them a few times over the past few months to no avail.

k, np thanks for quick reponse.
it is annoying though as i was just gonna catch another member in our team (hopefully this week) and then i check the stats and get a massive -.
do you think the official CB stats will resolve themselves ??? or have i just lost a load of work.

They'll resolve within a day usually...

Gettting a big minus score isn't always a stats glitch.
If you have clients that have built up large scores then running one of them as anonymous by mistake will do it.
This happened to me and I fixed it by making sure the proper ID was in the client.
Log in on the chessbrain site and check that all your nodes are listed.
If you find one missing then it is probably running as anonymous.
