Planned Server Downtime on 01/18/2002 Friday

Dear IronBits,

As part of our commitment to provide you with reliable electic service we sometimes need to make repairs to our power lines and systems.
This work is scheduled for 1/18/2002, Friday. Beginning at approx. 8:00 AM PST, the power will go off for approx. 2 to 3 hours OR you will experience several momentary outages, 1-3 minutes or less.
In the event of unexpected circumstances, the outage my last longer than planned.

This looks like a serious potential for many brown outs and power surges. I will be unplugging everything in the house, until I am assured they are done. The UPS that I have is good, but not that good, to span that many hours with this many Servers.

Systems affected will be:
dBestern.com, dBestern.net, Free-DC.org, IRCd Server.

Sites affected are:
Ars Super Computer, Team Lamb Chop, TCP, TVM, TFY, TER(2), Free-DC Forum/STATS/IRCd/TEAM Sites, Hat's Sushi Bar, and other personal or private sites.

Free-DC.org IRCd will still be reachable on the East Coast Server irc.mainetech.net:6667
