ugh, not that I seem to be getting an email from the project to be able to reset my password :(
you are already have account thru boinc wide teams?
and does boinc-wide teams project have xml stats exported? I suppose this is a standalone boinc server installation with some adjustments? you can attach to it as well. and ofcourse no job.

check this. maybe we can gently force d.net admins to export stats in xml )))))
yes, my account was created via boinc wide teams. As far as I know, they don't set the password though, so it's impossible to login.
Boinc wide teams is NOT a boinc project in itself.
I did add the DrugDiscovery project in yesterday though..
Bok
new project ))))

WCG have xml stats now. Maybe this help somehow...
They are a boinc project only now, they've always had xml since they changed over....

What about GIMPS?
I have an internal criteria I've always stuck to where I need at a minimum team and user data. GIMPS does not provide that unfortunately....they only provide team data right now. I could do it with just teams but it would break the stats a little..
OK, I was just hoping. I should have known if you could, you would. AND MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
altered the way I use the nickname for a user in the combined boinc stats. Now it will use the name which appears on the most projects per user.
So if your name has changed today, that's why :)
Most people tend to keep it the same anyways
I also added some more 'most' milestones, this time for most #1's and most top 10's for teams. Linked in the left side of the stats..
Bok
How about adding milestones for 25, 50 and 100 million, with the advent of GPU computing? Give us GPU users something else to shoot for...:guntotin:
Already there :)
Of course, I'm guessing the first 1billion score by a user won't be that far away...PHP Code:

I was thinking in the 'Mega Milestones' area, or the 'Most Milestones' area...
ah. Gotcha..
sure, easy enough to add. Will get it in now... :)
Done, run and links updated. Pages might be cached for a short time though. I've verified it worked on Kevint's page though

Bok :)
Works in mine also...thanks...
:D
If you look here, http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?p...grid&name=3550, you will see that I have 156,747 cobbles for today. It has been like that for many days. Why won't it clear??
aha, ok that's something different. I mustn't be rolling over that row correctly in the overnight script. Will fix it today..
Bok
hmm, ok, that *should* be fixed next time the PrimeGrid stats run, however it's brought to my attention another bug, one that is a little more difficult to fix and much less obvious anyway...
Lauren,
Just keep :guntotin: and :firedevil:
If you run over people...... Oh well, they should have heard the :train: coming...... true? They don't need radar to hear that!!!!!
C.
:)
Okay so you'd like a longer range radar i'll look into it.
I'm thinking maybe a longer range but with less accuracy i.e < 1 day is nulled and maybe just by days so instead of 4.2 days just saying 4 days that do ya?
Goph, Bok, et al,
Suggestion if I may (please excuse my having jumped into the middle)......
Is it easily doable, keeping with our 2 column format of opportunities & threats, to allow the scaling (total range) to be somewhat logrithmic? I thought it was already that way for the 'average' member, but if not then subdivide the column into 3, non-delineated subgroups of
a) the existing fragment of a day
b) 1 to 10 days out
c) 10 to 100 days out (or whatever the outter limit is)
using the user's rate of advancement (or lack thereof) as the log() scaling factor like you would see on a normal weather radar image?
I also support your idea, which makes clear, clean sense to decrease the 0.02 days to simply 0 days.... I do realize the problem is # of display slots to report in. Hence this idea.
I have used this, which we have in a number of aircraft....
a) 0-5 miles
b) 5-50 miles
c) 50-500 miles
These show up on the 'normal' mode, but the aircraft also provides us with a 'close up' and a 'long range' scale mode as well. Close up is the 0-5 miles, marked in 0-1, 1-2, 2-3...4-5 miles; 5-50 is similar as is 50-500.
It's intent was to allow us to gauge based on our current airspeed and/or need for details.
In relating to how to achieve this... *IF* that is what is desired... How about using a simple value from the input stats , use the performance data (average number of units returned over some unit of time (or just a fixed constant like that in the example above)) as the 'log() scale factor' ?
This would give fast movers and slow movers alike, similar personalized coverage. It could also be used for the 'threats' column as well if you wished.
Am I making sense in this description and is this easily doable? Lauren, would this address what you are looking for ?
C.
I think you have it set now to see the next Top 10 Project Opportunities
Thats OK for normal users :geezer:
But Fast movers:train: can jump 3 to 10 users in 1 day
Maybe a button tab that will open a new window to see 10 Days
Instead of 10 Project Opportunities
Thanks gopher_yarrowzoo
:allhail:
Lauren, Goph, and gang,
When I was running one of the older projects, it was NOT uncommon for me to jump up several hundred or even a few thousand users a day... well beyond that listed in the opportunities column. That is why I suggested a single, log scale like for Lauren and a few folks like me who take sabbatical and then come in a sweep up on points and boost our standings.
I would often see the top 10 opportunities, see that I would easily blast past them in the next few hours (if not already due to stats update scheduling) which i anticipated. However, there are those FEW :guntotin: (names withheld to protect the guilty HAHA) who will do this given the plantations (well beyond the scope of a standard 'farm') of horsepower..... :D
Does my analogy to our logrithmic radar scaling help or is it just unnecessary noise? If noise, then please accept my apology for jumping in where inappropriate.
There have been times when a projected 10 day schedule would have been nice, but never as needed by myself as more keystone members of the team. For them, I give my support and help wherever possible.
Cheers,
C.
I agree that what I am asking for is of more use to prower users:D
But it would also bring the users stat page more in line with the Team stat page
There you can see 1000 days ahead:guntotin:
The old stats had the 10=100 days so I thought it would not be that hard to do
:idea:And I do Miss them Sooooo
I'll see what I can do this week...
Well Laurenu2 this one is just for the your and people like you who have a HUGE tag that takes up a fair bit of screen room top to bottom, I've squashed it a little
What you think?
As you can see it's not 100% but I figured it was good enough to release just a minor GLITCH...
Tag2 is now LIVE and fixed or it should be
so those with a LOT of projects that were using tag.php?name=your name you may want to check of tag2.php?name=your name :) to see the diff
So I have to put this into my control panel?
http://stats.free-dc.org/tag2.php?name=Laurenu2
To make it convet old and new post Sig's
Yeah just go into your signature and change it in there :) it's all good to go.
 But all that tag2.php?name=your name confuses the crap out of me:hair:
If you did not post a image of it I would have fudge it up :bang:
Okay that don't work.. I'll erm look at that!
All fixed, minor test case since i just loop read the data array and it's not sorted I didn't think it would ever sit at the split point for more than 1 loop - added a fix to stop this ever happening :) Well caught Death :D
