In light of pfb's recent dumpage I've decided to do a 500 stub mega dump on a single machine. I've just started crunching it today - let's see how long this puppy takes.
No idea how many Gnodes it will be worth, but I'm sitting on 506 Gnodes from 11 stubs so far. That would put 500 stubs at 23T, but it is a bit early to be estimating at the moment. It would be a nice surprise if it turned out being enough to take #13 from DP! :)
Edit: looks like sTs950 will break 1P in tomorrow's update - congrats!
This Thomas Svedberg guy...wow!
Yeah, ouch!
I'm 90 stubs through my 500. Playing too much Guild Wars so it isn't getting much CPU time. :) Building a Barton core XP 2500 (mostly from spare parts) for my gf in the next few days, might get it to join in with 500 of its own.
looks like this Svedberg is producing as much GNodes per day as I've ever been doing since beginning :D
Anyone know the story on this person/group of person's?
I'd be curious too who's that heavy hitter :D
hey MK! How you doing? Ramped up for the weekend yet?
Hi china!
Not much to ramp up that weekend, just the usual crunchers :D
I've been out for a business trip the whole week, so I've shutdown my cruncher... next few weeks I'm on customer site too, but I think that I can drive home in between to crunch a little bit :D
I picked up a G4 laptop that puts out 31nodes/sec..but runs so hot..only run on weekends when I'm home.
Had to find something to keep up with your weekend numbers :D
BTW guys, I'm 344 stubs through my 500 now. :)
Got the 2500+ up and running at stock 1.8GHz, but it is running pretty cool so I'll mess around with it soon. Should add a little bit to my dailies, though it will only be part time and probably not even producing every day.
China, hopefully you mean Mnodes/s otherwise it isn't worth powering that bad boy up! ;) 31Mnodes/s is about what my single core [email protected] does.
Well, I left it crunching overnight last night and when I woke up this morning I saw that 509 stubs were complete. I must've hit a large number of smaller stubs. :(
Oh well, they've been flushed now. I think I'll start 500 stubs on the new 2500+.
My core2 did about 8600 stubs in 30 days (190000 stats units)
:woot:
Let me guess, its a Core 2 Duo E6600?
Nice numbers!!
maefly is first, congratulations!!!
And welcome to a new member: Perv Boy.

:|party|: :|party|: CONGRATS maefly! :|party|: :|party|:
Your incredible consistency seems to have paid off. :)
Yeah, Congrats!
congratulations maefly!!!
wow, #1!! that's pretty cool!
Thank-you!
Way to go maefly!!

Got em going MK...except for the laptop in the bedroom at night :)
Your output is much greater than mine now. I'll have to see what I can bring to bear on the weekends to keep up :)
Oh my god! What does Nitrousine? He ramped up 22,500 GNodes!
Will that happen more often?
nope, but maybe when quad core cpu's get cheaper..Quote:

box and will see what it can do on OGR for the next 24/48 hours.
that would be great!!
Your Dual Xeon HT @ 3.2 Ghz with 4 treads will do about 6.5 T @ OGR in 24 hours :thumbs:Quote:

mine's a 3.6 GHZ dual Xeon with HT.
Here's the 24 hour numbers for my top 5 systems.
7962 xeon 3Ghz core 2 duo (2 threads)
7966 xeon 3Ghz core 2 duo (2 threads)
9479 dual xeon 2.3Ghz core 2 duo (4 threads)
12203 dual xeon 3.2Ghz dual core P4 with HT (8 threads)
16064 dual xeon 3Ghz core 2 duo (4 threads)
He, amazing :)
I did a little test last night on my Conroe clocked to 3,0 GHz and it showed 90 Mnodes/s or 7800 points per day :)
Edit: yeah it will be on shortly, want to flush some caches first
My next monster is in the works. Dual Xeon 2.66Ghz Quad core. 8 threads at 2.66Ghz each or a total of 21.28Ghz. I need to talk to my French buddy so I can overclock them to 3Ghz or 24Ghz total.

HT for ogr helps very little. Around an extra 17% or less.
Is this a commercially available proc ? The cloverton?Quote:

16th place.
Keep it up everyone.
Do we have a list with best Team-day ever? We made 413,386 GNodes at last stats update! This must be one!
Only a few days until #16!
Have a new 1.66CoreDuo™ cooking away to keep up with your output MK :)
I saw you man! It's not easy to keep up with you at the moment :D
Is it just a CoreDuo or a Core 2 Duo?
I think after passing the 3,000,000 Gnodes and Free-DC getting #16 I need to retire from DC :D
