I do confirm having a PS3 doing fulltime OGR!
Yep, 1 x PS3 it is, running since I bought it.... stealth stats whore :)
Unfortunately I have no time to move whatever the rest is on to this... if some1 finds me a link to a UK 40GB PS3 for £250 i could double my output ;)
All most at Full Burn :fireboun: About 96% Committed Now
Have a bunch of boxen doing their last sob tests. A couple have finished causing my rise in daily output. The rest should be there in the next few days or so.
Guys we need to increase production if we want to
a: Overhaul Team Warped
b: stay ahead of the BOINC Wrapper
With daily production seeing a threefold increase, the project is going to rush to it's conclusion.
So do we want this place or not?
We will never stay ahead of thousands of 'anonymous users' called BOINC wrapper.
I wish guru would wake up and we can always use more help. :)

Dear friends,
We are coming towards the final stages of the OGR-25 project.
Our network has come under some strain in recent days, due to
the amount of OGR work being processed. We are aware that
some of the stubs being issued are very small. This is making
calculating buffer requirements difficult for those of us who
like to keep a close eye on things.
In the default configuration, an instance of dnetc which
cannot receive OGR stubs to work on will switch over
seamlessly to the RC5-72 project. We recommend to leave this
behaviour in place, if only to ease the load on our network
at this busy time.
If you have disabled the RC5-72 project in your client
configuration, your client may sit idle for a time while we
continue to experience difficulties with network connections.
We expect that the network connection difficulties will
continue into Monday, as this is historically the busiest
day of the week for our system. Please bear with us as we
work to resolve the shortages. We thank you for your
support.
Moo! ]:8)
Good thing we run our own pproxy servers ;) plus Bok's, which gives us an additional level of buffering.
Get some spare Power Supplies while your at it ! ;)
Go Team Go!
Looks like Ars is waking up, so we should be able to get one more spot before this is over.
If we could grab a few more GHZ until the end of the project we could overtake team Warped AND stay ahead of yoyo@home.
Well The supply ship beamed in a new power supply:thumbs:
But when I applied power to the Dilithium injectors I found the the Quad injector control Board was fried to:bang:
But I was in luck the supply ship was still within transport range and had a spare Quad injector control Board with them:cheers:
So I can now go back to warp 10.0 It will get me to the Moon of Fry's Upgrade Dock much faster I hear they have the new warp 11.0 Quad Dilithium injectors there
More storys of the DARK Free-DCer to come :rotfl:  :rotfl: May the force be with you
Reminder for PS3 crunchers:

As was previously indicated last month, OGRp2 results from the older
PlayStation 3 (CellBE) Linux clients earlier than version 2.9015-505
will no longer be accepted. If you are still using the older version,
you are encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible. See this
announcement for further details:
http://n0cgi.distributed.net/cgi/pla...08-01-10.05:48
The current version is here.
Whoops, just found my offline cruncher sitting idle because it stormed through over 600 stubs which only amounted to a grand total of just over 6T. :bang:
Does it means that the stubs are getting shorter again?
yoyo
As we reach the end stages, we are seeing a lot more fluctuation in stub sizes, even day to day. It used to be that there would be long stretches between the longest stubs and the shortest stubs, but I'm now seeing this every almost week. It's a big PITA for us offline crunchers to keep the right amount cached.
Actually, they were stubs buffered from back in September 2007, so it isn't a reflection of current stub distribution. However, as BlisteringSheep said, stub size is expecting to fluctuate all over the place.
Apparently, we have now begun the 4-diff and 3-diff stubs, so some uber-massive ones might show up for some people...
An overloaded OGR server from too many crunchers, that's the best bad news I've heard in a while. :rotfl:
You will see a drop in my output for today and tomorrow
As I am re-organize-ing My computer room
I should be back to full burn by tomorrow night
4th place is a possibility but only if the project would last for 4 more months.
Assuming a constant nodes per stub ratio my current prediction of 100% is end of August, that would be 6 months.
Well sorry I will have to be down for summer to rebuild my garage roof

Fresh air through the towers And there is even a elevator for me to get up and down from there but you can not see it in this pic
