That equals 'annonymous' users in any other project, or folks not on a team because that's really what it is and you can't compete against the world, so we ignore that 'team' in all things stats. :)

ppstats has been updated to remove all pre-2008 data..
I'll look into putting something up with the logs in 2007 I still have..
Bok
Let the :fight::saber: begin and the:whip: of boxen commence :D
What's great about DNET is there is a wide support of OS and hardware platforms, so not much excuse for not giving it a go. ;)
I was not able to do anything with the boinc_5.10.17_powerpc-unknown-linux.sh file :( - it failed extraction with directory not found or something.
I believe I asked for you to make it into just a tar file so I could just extract it where I wanted, because I looked at the file and saw some embedded script stuff at the beginning, which is what I think was causing the failure.
Because of your instructions I was able to get SIMAP working on all PS3s, at a cost of about 1 hours worth of work on OGR per PS3.
Thanks! :)
I also created a new thread in Boinc SIMAP here http://www.free-dc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=13154 so you can correct any non-sense if need be.
480T so far today. :Pokes:
Update
530T
... two day in a row! Production is flying  (Also means that I've been knocked from sitting 8th or 9th each day to 14th, which is good in a way :jester:)
I need more tin.
A couple of FDC admins are toying with me :D
I'm giving it everything I got... well almost ;)
Time to fire up the afterburners...
but don't Retros slow you down? :lmao:
I knew I should have had coffee this morning :)
Edited..
PCZ, looks like you've already added some Iron :)
Averaging over 1,000,000 a day and bringing the :stomp: date to 27.5 days away.
Let's see if we can shave some time off that :Pokes:
Let's say February the 3rd?
If Anandtech are pushing SoB until the end of jan that will give them less time to mobilise their forces.
:whip: them puppies
:stomp: date down to 13 days and we are averaging over 1.1 million a day.
Go Free DC :banana::banana:
Highvoltz we are averaging over 1.2 million and the :stomp: date has gone to 11.3 days which should have us comfortably :beep: past Anandtech before their January push in SoB has finished.
Will they :fight: , I kinda doubt it, they know what they get when they :Pokes: us.
Great job everyone :cheers::rock:
Brrrrr, it's been hanging around freezing for some time now in the evenings...
So I just tossed on two more PS3 heaters :)
:beep::beep::beep::beep::beep::beep::beep::beep::beep:
IronBits, have you updated any of your PS3's to the 2.10 System Software level? I've done it on two units, and as soon as I try to reboot the whole thing turns into a brick. No video, no USB, no nothing.
Really? I haven't touched my oldest units from the original batch.
These last two I just took out of the box, received the PS3 updates via network, just like I did the others, and prior to sticking YDL on them.
I do the Sony update, then format it giving 10gb to other OS, stick YDL DVD in drive and tell it to install other OS, then make the Other OS the default, then it reboots and away I go.
I haven't had a problem yet. Perhaps the order in which it's done?
I won't know about performance for another couple of days of full runs to compare them to the other units.
I don't plan on letting Sony touch the older ones, so thanks for the heads up and sorry to hear about your troubles. :(
I've been still using the v1.5 CELL-Linux-CL_20071023-ADDON, and it seems like that may be the problem. From the CHANGES-e.txt that comes with v1.5.1 CELL-Linux-CL_20071220-ADDON.
v1.5.1 (2007/12/20 version)
Linux Kernel 2.6.23
o Following problems are fixed
- As of PS3 firmware version 2.10, the GPU command buffer size must be at least 2
MiB large. Then we can not see the video output on the display.
I was so disgusted when everything immediately went black with this replacement unit that I just turned everything off and put it back in the box. I'm *hoping* that I'll be able to get it to boot back to SonyOS so I can re-install the new otheros. At least I was smart enough this time to immediately pull the 40gb drive so if it does ever have to go back I won't lose the install.
Dang shame you're having all those problems. If it turns on, you should be able to get to it via SSH and hopefully fix the Addon software issue ;)
Once I have the default YDL linux installed, I shut it down and move it to the 'rack', never to have anything but a power cord and nic cable. :)
All fixed! I was able to get back to SonyOS so I could re-install the updated otheros.bld, it's in the middle of the install now (I'm using Fedora just because that's the only distro I didn't already use on something).
Excellent! And on that note, guess I'll just add another one to the pharm. :D
Ya So Did I But I am Not sure I did it right
IB I copied the dnetc.INI from the client running on the Free DC server here to a old client running on a PC called DELL
Would that work to start up clients to feed off the Free DC server here
The IP is still the same as it was before if you want to Look or add more:cheers:
Again Thanks for all your help You Da MAN:thumbs:
Roger that. That is all you need to do.
I'm there now if'n you wanna watch :D
call me, we need to fix a few things before I can begin with mass updates. :)
24 actives.
1.3 million average
:stomp: target now down to 7 days
It's down to just over 4 days, woohoo!
And Team Warped is down to three months too :Pokes:
Powering on :)
Noticed that we did 1,791,250 Gnodes on the last update :rock::bouncy::|party|:
I'm getting closer #16.
yoyo
Well, yes, but to be fair I don't believe yoyo@home should be a team at dnet. By all means the user is good and fair, but why bother putting the user into a team at all, when there will never be more than the single user anyway ??
Bok
p.s. great job on the wrapper though!! :)
Well, I would rather say the yoyo-thingy is a team and no user, because that's what it is - a team of users, and not a single user.
But actually, I don't really care about one single team (apart of Free-DC, of course )
Ouch, quite a few of the big guns have just trampled me, leaving me way down in the mid-section. Some of you have incredible production rates.
Well, I'll be sticking with it until the end, so hopefully I can take a few of those places back from non-producers, unless they wake up any time soon.
Nice to see that the gap to TA is disappearing fast. :D
10,000,000
Nice job big guy
And well done maefly for 100,000,000 Gnodes!:clap:
Thanks for noticing. :)
Go maefly Go!
Nice number!
