question about RSS feature in this forum

Since I do not look that often like years ago into this forum I wanted to subscribe to a RSS feed of the d.net-OGR forums (http://www.free-dc.org/forum/externa...S2&forumids=43) - but never got any news in Outlook (where I read my RSS feeds) the last few days when alpha posted something (http://www.free-dc.org/forum/showthr...657#post150657).

My question: does RSS only tell me when there are new threads (what I believe it currently does)? Or should it also display new posts on existing threads (which it currently does NOT)? What is the intention of RSS with this forum? Can the behaviour be configured?

I'm not entirely sure, I'll try and find out.
