at least once, I did something that could cause data or files to be misplaced or caught in limbo.. causing me to lose...

would start uploading; get 2 or three generatons into it [ slowly, over minutes]..
these messsages:
earlier, it appeared that several generations were uploaded [ a fewer number remained buffered...

..but different cause;
had just shifted to Quiet mode [ in parameter list];

went to upload; didnt see anything happening.. wasnt swift enough to realize that it was probly Quiet mode being quiet...

inadvertently interrupted an unload;
