They needed 292 active members to beat our 10. :D
 Enjoy it while you can. We will be back! :D
The team jumping was one of the reasons why I left DF the last time.
It's fun to look at the stats and try to get the team that is ahead of you, but when the team are jumping from number 7 to number...
I agree with Welnic.
Keep it folding and never terminate the project:D
The news page has been updated, but it says 4th december
Will it be the 4th or the 2nd december?
Why should we lower the goal?
Just because we don't get points as fast as we used to?
If some one don't want to do the slow ones it's their loss, we get the same points as before, it just take...
Do other projects clear the states once a month because a new team might join?
If you get late into any project you will start at the bottom.
You can't expect the stats to start form...
I did Stanford projects and are used to be without stats
2 days without stats isn't the end of the world
We did that.
Before TheGenomeCollective there was
ACHO, SkzDaLimit, PCcitrix and a few other teams that decided to mege into one big team.
Thats over two years ago
ok.
I have sent my email address on pm
I just run one instance of the client and it doesn't happen that often. It have worked well for several days now. I will send a PM if it happens again.
No. If I restart the client works fine
It just continue where it stopped without any errors
I have 5gb free space and have admin rights on the pc.
Have used the pc since phase2 started, but the error have only happened the last two weeks
Got this message:
FATAL ERROR: CoreLib [002.005] {ncbifile.c, line 715} File write error
The client was still running but the cpu use was 0
Had to terminate it from taskmanager and restart it...
That is good for the project. Some of those computers would not be used for DF. Now we get a few extra computers every time it is a fast protein.
Keep the stats as it is
If someone isn't running from the start and are missing the fast ones, it's their own fault
Norwegian translation is in the mail
Just uploaded ca 400 generations.
5-10 sec pr. gen. (56Kb modem)
No problems here
Restarted the pc.
Works ok now
Strange...
I have to restart the client for each generation
YESSSS!!!
It's alive.
I'm on gen 1 :elephant:
Using -qt -rt
[NULL_Caption] FATAL ERROR: [000.000] File qqd4qid9_0_protein_0004687.val is corrupt; cannot continue - replace file and start again, or manually delete filelist.txt
Hit Return ...
My 1.7 will use 3 days 19 hours on gen 0 (WinXP) :sleepy:
Tried to run off line, but it crashes after the first structure
