Are you sure it's the beta client? I have 8 linux boxen running Redhat 9 and CRUX 1.2 and none of them show memory leaks like that anymore.
Looks like it's down again, all my machines had an error.

I am getting a lot of Linux machines running the beta with the same Best energy reported in the progress.txt file which might be a bug. I had 3 machines at once reporting the same reading:

The beta client is going very well on all my linux boxen except earlier glibc versions where it wont run.
The memory leak has gone away.
The performance is way better than the last client, I am...
I downloaded the new Linux client a few hours ago, after running for 2 hours with the -rt and -q flags the memory usage has already crept from 91MB to 102MB, that's not a good sign :(

Then why have any points system at all? If everyone thought like you then there would be no loss of participation with the dropping of a points system!
Hmm this might explain why my diskless farm fell over, as they run off a RAM disk image.

I am still getting random freezing under FreeBSD, all looks fine when you do a ps -ax, but you have to do a kill -9 to the foldtrajlite process to get it to stop, it ignores the removal of the lock...

Since the new protein earlier today, Dyyryath's stats don't seem to be updating at regular intervals.
/var/tmp has 16MB free. The file name did exist, it was only about 4MB long. I have just solved the problem by taking someone elses tested version of a FreeBSD 4.8 based diskless workstation system,...
I am in the process of making a minimal (64MB)FreeBSD image for a diskless PXEboot folding farm. I have almost got it going, but I have probably missed some critical library and -bench fails with the...
Now that the Athlon 64 is officially released, anyone got -bench figures for it?
I have a K7D with two MP2800+ and it is going fine on this protein, my T'bred XP2600+ is actually beating my P4's that are running at 3GHz.
