The list of fixes in 1.10 has made me confident enough to re-enable intermediate block reporting. So far, so good. I'll keep you guys posted.

AFAIK, the "equivalent" is based on the Pentium I 90Mhz level of performance. My current P4 Northwood has an improved & faster architecture, larger caches and offers SSE2 SIMD instructions. I also...
What I meant to say, there may be even older Faithfuls out there that take longer to complete a block or newer Faithfuls that aren't on 24/7.
I have unfortunately no insight in the tests due, so...
On the one hand, I agree every system is (or should be) welcome and appreciated. On the other hand efficient use of available SoB resources should be taken into consideration.
Suppose Old Faithful...
For what it's worth: I disabled intermediate block sending. I completed a few tests and they were all uploaded successfully. The stats look a bit off now, which seems to be the only drawback, but at...
Unfortunately, the z(n) file was deleted. I'm not too worried about the 15 hours, I am worried that lately this is happening a little too often for my taste.
For now I have disabled transmitting...
And again!

That's exactly what I'm suggesting..... but only for all but one k, reserved for this class of participants. Let's nominate one. Since Samidoost (and perhaps rightly so) objected to 4847, why not...
On the other hand, when I read the description for "current test window" (http://www.seventeenorbust.com/stats/rangeStatsEx.mhtml) correctly, for quite a few k the n lower bound is in the 400,000...
Another thing i just noticed on my stats page and may help tracking the bug down:
Currently pending tests: 2 tests
The 'rejected' proth test must somehow still be assigned to me, because I...
Hi all,
the 10 day rule is not applicable in this case;
[Tue Apr 15 13:11:01 2003] got proth test from server (k=55459, n=3321994)
The first sign of trouble was:

It seems my happiness was a bit premature:
[Wed Apr 16 19:08:41 2003] n.high = 3058155 . 12 blocks left in test
[Wed Apr 16 19:21:12 2003] temporarily unable to connect -- block added to submit...
I had a proth test rejected, and then re-accepted. I'll post from my sb.log:
(snip)
[Tue Apr 15 15:47:17 2003] n.high = 271836 . 135 blocks left in test

Hi,
I've experienced the same problem on the Windows32 1.0.0 client . I can actually see the cEM/s "counting down". I stop the client, exit, and restart it and it will quickly go up over the 'old'...
That's where the discussion is focussing on. For 50 block test, it may take over 50*10/365.25 ~ 1.3 years to complete. On my machine this takes half a day.
The problem, as stated earlier in this...
Hi all,
if I'm not mistaken, yesterday we celebrate SoB's first anniversary!
Time since project start n/a 365.5 days
Congratulations, everyone!
