<cough> Somebody dumped? <looking for the duck and run smiley>
It's been real, and it's been fun - heck, it's even been real fun! I have a commitment to go kick a few dogs, now, but y'all are a great bunch and I hope to get the chance to crunch with you again. ...
Hear, hear - I'll drink to that! :spray:
That's way cool! I'm making a note of that since it's going to be time to replace "my" box in the very near future. Fastest thing I have here is a P3/1000 that averages a teeny bit under 6hr a work...
Well ... it's really not quite the dump it appears to be from the daily stats pages - what shows up there is actually two days' worth of production in terms of the gauntlet. Because of the problems...
Actually, it's been surprising me, too. :scared:
I'm beginning to wonder if I have an anonymous benefactor out there somewhere crunching on my behalf <naaaah> ... maybe someone just turned on some...
Someone set him up the bomb! :haddock:
So, fellow JSI'ers - is it time to RAMP UP yet?

:help: ... is the stats server now on daylight time, or will it remain on standard? Somebody asked me to find out so he'd know exactly what time to schedule the last day's dump ... err ... upload to...
Awww heck ...
... y'all are gonna force me to start borging the work boxen, aren't ya? Oh well ... guess I get to stay at work late tomorrow night to make sure they're all accidently left on...
Given a bit of 'prior experience' with at least a few of this crowd, I suspect that number is a bit conservative ... ;)
Talk about close:
Team [JBI] = 591
Team [JSI] = 592
I see 7 (2 on the 1st and 5 on the 2nd) credited from Daza - maybe you're not getting them submitted early enough for the daily update (they're pulled at noon EST, iirc). There was a post from DP...
Team JSI Wants YOU!
what is this stashing thing?http://web.newsguy.com/sanford/images/mutley_crew.gif
http://www.warnerbros.com/madmagazine/img/alfredz.gif What, Me Worry?
Stoke the Boilers!
JBI just cut the lead to 4 WU!
<doing the panic act>
Even closer, perhaps, than the initial data suggests ... of that 7 work unit difference, four were the result of unintentional sandbagging on my part.
Thinking that today would be the "baseline"...
<cough> Uhh ... yeah ... right ...
Okay, we be jammin' ... barring thunderstorm-spawned power outages!

It looks like a reasonably even match to me ... in fact, I think I'm the one that's going to need help, especially with that ex-Teaberry fellow...
WooHoo - we're on!
Now if I can just get the client to run on the ship's computer ...

... it should be good for at least a couple more...
Since a gauntlet isn't really a guantlet without an individual challenge or two ...
... I hereby challenge the captains of both teams in the upcoming gauntlet - Team JBI (Mr. Clyne, that's you)...
Hmmm ... well, if I can get all six of these old boatanchors to overclock by 10%, that'd prolly give me an extra 400 or so MHz equivalent - probably enough to cover the Celery, at least ... ;)
Okay, here's one - does anyone know of a way to automatically set the priority for an application when it's started as a Windows 2000 "Scheduled Task"? Is there a command line switch or some such?
