600-700 is done and the factors are attached.
Greg
Verification requires either a factor or two PRP tests with matching residues, preferably with different programs. For these small candidates without small factors, 2 PRP tests are definitely...
350-450G is done. Attached are the results. I'll take
600-700 frmky
Greg
300-350 is done. I'll do 350-450 now.
Greg
Just checking. :) Thanks!
Greg
250-300G done, submitted, and attached. Working on 300-350G now. Is anyone else still working on these?
Greg
200-250G done and submitting. The factors are zipped and attached to this message. I'll take 250-300G now.
I'll take the 200-250G range.
Greg
I sieved 638G and a quick check confirms that all have been submitted. There's probably an equivalent number of ranges with a more than expected number of factors.
Greg
I just figured out that we need to log into the website, not the forum, to receive credit for the sieving. Anyway, my userid is 248. I'd appreciate it if you could change the userid...
On my Athlon XP 1800+, the optimal d parameter is -d=4.5, and there it checks 97000 p/s. I'm sure someone with a faster Athlon will report your 100,000 p/s number. :)
Greg
Wow!!! NbeGon_009 runs at 73,000 p/s on my Athlon XP 1800+! And this is pure, portable C code! I can't wait to see how high this goes when further optimized and the core routines are converted to...
On my Athlon XP 1800+, the new SOBSieve runs at 26450 p/s which is MUCH better than the previous 11890 p/s and a bit faster than NbeGon's 24485 p/s. Good work!
Greg
I compared the speed of the 2 sieves on three Athlons and the timings surprised me:
Athlon XP 1800+ (1.533 GHz), Windows XP
SOBSieve 11890 p/s (alpha=3)
NbeGon64 24485 p/s (d=1) 2x faster
...
Yes, that definitely sounds too slow. My Athon XP 1800+ (1.533 GHz) clocks in at 11855p/s at p=251G and alpha=3.
Greg
I'll take 250-255 billion.
Greg
The 900G-1T range is finished. 22 numbers were removed, and the files have been emailed.
Greg
Hi,
Last week, I started to work on 900G. Unfortunately I wasn't able to tell you about it since apparently my ISP's spam filters really don't like this forum's activation emails. After...
