I`ve got 2 machines sitting waiting for Opteron 165s as they seem to have disappeared till well after Xmas it seems.
Reckon AMD realised what they`d done with pricing etc and has held them up.
I really need them up and running cos I also have a new streaming video system to test and I want it working from the lounge on the 10Gb network I have on trial.
I also need to test out the new low profile case unit to how quiet it is with water as it fits nicely with the Yamaha audio and video gear to complete that equipment.
I just wish they`d get dual core opties in the 2 series at that kind of price level cos that would be a crackin outfit.
I`ll get there eventually, and with the power savings alone, I can justify an extra rig or two.
