    eOn and a Proxy server

    Hi everybody, I really hope you could help me getting eOn to work through my proxy server at work. I've left it for a few days, but its still not connecting. I've mailed Graeme a few days ago, but he hasn't replyed yet.

    This is whats in the cfg file oh and I did edit it in notepad where all is in one line.

    [settings]
    email=myemailaddy
    server=eon.cm.utexas.edu
    port=10204
    loglevel=0

    [firewall]
    active=yes
    host=10.0.0.2
    port=808
    userpass=userasswd

    [apps]
    client=al110c
    version=1

    Thanx!

    amdxborg,

    Thanks. I might be wrong but I don't think you will be able to setup a proxy server. You need a permanent internet connection to run the project. Let's wait for Graeme.

    You can also get in touch with Alok or with Omer.

    check with your network admin.
    My guess is that port 808 is closed.

    In business networks we tend to close off all port numbers that low by default.
    Perhaps they can open it for you.
