    Project ID too large...

    Hey Bok.
I’m unable to add F@H to my Stats ID. It seems my ID for this project is too large for the ID input field.
The ID input field truncates my ID from: KWSN_VesuviusThe+Knights+Who+Say+Ni%21 to: KWSN_VesuviusThe+Knights+Who+S.

Is there a workaround for this limitation?

    -Thanks
    Sir V

Well it looks like the ID field is no longer truncating my ID.

...but Folding@Home shows me as having zero points.

    ...I screwed up somewhere didn't i?

    You did didn't you...

I increased the size of the column earlier.

I just fixed your id. You have to correct for the html naming ( i.e. replacing the '+'s with spaces etc. My fault really, I shoud have a better FAQ... - not my forte I'm afraid!!

    Excellent.

Geez I didn't have to use the holy handgrenade or anything.

    ...and there was much rejoicing...

    Thanks Bok.

Seems to be cutting it off for the OGR and RC5 as well.. It stops at Say and leaves out the "Ni!"
When in doubt, kick it until it works.

That just means your Team Name is too long
    TKWSN would work perfectly.

    Still truncates it.
Showing up as: 447662Knights Who Say
When it should be: 447662Knights Who Say "Ni!"

Aye, the curses of a long team name. Oh well.
When in doubt, kick it until it works.

It's the quotes around Ni that are fscking it up. I handle that in most places but not in this one. I'll put in a fix for it as soon as I get a chance.

Wondering if changing the team name to the team number would work. Say instead of The Knights Who Say "Ni!" change it to Team #3706. It's the same for both projects.
When in doubt, kick it until it works.

I see you increased the length of the field, but could you make it a few spaces longer?

[DPC]Fokschaap_McIntosh_0Dutch Power Cows is what should be filled in (if i am correctly informed), but that won't fit.

It might be a bug in the statstool itself, which I'll look at. In the meantime I've updated the column for you directly in the DB with the correct value..

    Works now

I'm having the same trouble as Vesuvius. I'm also with the KWSN. Is it just us or what? I replaced the +'s with spaces and left off the %21. I just can't get it to show my F@A stats. It shows 0 credit.
    A little help please.

    Works now.

OK, so i'm an idiot. Now I can't get my signature to show on our site and I don't believe it's working here as well. I tried the http://stats.free-dc.org/images/kwsn imcrazynow.png wraped in tags and all i get is kwsn's stats with nothing showing. like you see in this message. What the heck am I doing wrong?

Maybe if my user name was changed to just (1st choice)imcrazynow or (2nd) kwsn_imcrazynow it would help?

    http://stats.free-dc.org/tag.php?name=kwsn+imcrazynow

You need to put a + where the space is in your name.... for html purposes.

    Bok

Thanks again Bok. It's working perfect here but for some reason I get the red x at our place. I copied and pasted from my signature here so I don't know what I did wrong. I'm sorry to keep bothering you with this. I also tried the http://stats.free-dc.org/images/kwsn+imcrazynow.png wraped in image tags. It's probably going to be another HTML issue like all my other problems. I just don't know the stuff.

    Hmmm,

that one is a different issue. I can see the image created but it hasn't put any data in. Must be a problem with the script which generates the static images.. I'll fix and let you know.

    My pleasure

    Fixed it...

just use a '+' in place of the space now and it is there. Just had to add a simple urlencode to the name field before I passed it into the php script to generate the image...

    Working perfect! Thanks again Bok.

    Yikes,

    you're right...

expanded the field and fixed your id in statstool, so it should be showing now..

That's what comes of having a 3 digit nickname

Need to jump on the bandwagon here. Got a long nick & team name for F@H, and end up needing 1 character:

    BlisteringSheepArs Technica Team Egg Rol

    needs an "l" (field's currently at 40).

    Thanks man,

    Ok,

it's just on the form. I've extended to 50. The database value actually holds 100
