Thread: Why was No Credit Given for these Factors?

Why was No Credit Given for these Factors?

    I submited these 2 factors:

    1200181059826517 | 21181*2^20165732+1
    1207300571910991 | 10223*2^37339181+1

and did not recieve any credit for them.

Just wondering if I'm wasting my time or if there is a problem?

    Thanks

scores are updated manually so give it time. If you still don't have credit then check if you were signed in when submitting factors. Also did oyu have the range reserved?

I'm not sure about the other one but this one

    1207300571910991 | 10223*2^37339181+1

looks like it was added to Excl total because I sent up 1 Fact and 34 Excl between daily update and didn't get credit for Fact and Excl went up 35.

I used Sobistrator which logs me in and I logged in and sent manually and message returned that the were not new.

    Thanks

I just noticed that all your n are above 20M. We are not yet scoring n over 20M.

I'm not actually crunching this project, so feel free to reject my idea, but maybe it would be a good idea to have separate stats depending on which sieve file people are using. They could later be combined. Besides, n is past 13 million, so it's probably about time to start rewarding factors that are greater than 20 million. JMO

I'm not really sure how this works but I request the ranges, run them and report them. How do I control the results of the seiving?

I've been running the combined for a long time and thought I was losing results here and there but wasn't sure until now. I have quit seiving but not abandoned ranges until this is sorted out.

    Thanks

There is nothing to sort out. The factors over 20M will eventually be scored. I just don't know when. You make me regret posting that I saw that they were over 20M. Next time I will let sleeping dogs lie.

For the record. AFAIK no results have ever been lost. All results that have ever been submitted are in at least three locations.

    Thanks,

Didn't me too. Just wondering what was happening and why I'm getting over 20M and how to stop getting them. I guess it doesn't matter because there isn't a problem with the scoring. Eventually they will be scored and everything is OK.

    Thanks for the help.
