Anyone Else having "Lag" on here

I don't know maybe it's just me but erm the entire forum is slow for me for some reason, just wondering if it's just me or not.
Maybe Bok needs to kick the thing again...

I have this problem too... it takes some time until the site is computed at server site or the connection has some problems...

Maybe time will work it out

    currently lagging again

which process priority do you use for the rosetta stats Bok?

maybe I've asked it earlier in this forum, but what kind of hardware drives the free-dc.org-sites (stats and forum)?

When processing the host stats (holding the whole xml file in memory), it uses all available memory and goes into swap, that's what causes the lag.

I could upgrade the memory on the box but it's not cheap ($300 for a one time 1Gb upgrade) or I can rewrite the stats to use an xml tree parser (I did some of the work on that some time ago), but I just don't have the time or energy right now.

    I'm in for $100.

Send me an addy or give me a PayPal address here or via PM or email. I don't post much anymore but it's still my home.

    You've got PayPal™ for $100

Now only $200 remaining for the RAM upgrade.

Who will step up with me?

Guess I should've waited before buying that DVD in the wishlist thread.

Good luck on getting the whole $300. If it can get up to $200, or Bok guarantees that he'll buy the RAM, I'll put in ten bucks.
