    About to be RK in SOB

    Just a fair warning to all interested parties that we are about to be Road Kill here in a few days. DarksideDC is on our tails maybe we should think about adding a little more power. I will see what types of machines I can borg tomorrow.

    I'm sort-of dedicated to RS at the time, but I managed to find 11 machines to dedicate to SOB.

    I found about 20 or so here on campus...more to come in the future...it helps that I finally figured out how to install it as a service too. Thanks for the help maefly!

    I think with SETI Classic shutting down and FAD, we have some more interest in this project developing from other teams...
    I've tossed on a few dual core boxen to help slow down their climb ...

    US-Distributed is on our SIX - need just a few more P4/Xeons on this one.
    I put the Dual cores on other projects, because they don't even come close to what the P4/Xeons can do.

    I wish rsbriggs was around and doing well.
    He bought all my Dual Xeon rigs...

    Just trying to get all our boxen balanced out on the different projects this Team seems to enjoy competing in, so we can 'maintain' the leads we have.

    Sorry, couldn't resist ! We'd have to see how the dualcores do on the sse3 version. I believe IB tested it and they run as quick as the xeons, so I'd have to put 40Ghz of AMD dualcores on it as well as the xeons and assorted P4's. And with the dual dualcore (opty 265's) I'm going to build soon.....

    Just a comment:

    Although I seldom look at stats in general, I looked at Bok's SOB stats today. According to his stats, our biggest threat is TSC_Russia, who're way back at 21st place. They are set to overtake us in about 410 days.

    I'd be curious to know the methodology for tracking trends. How far back in time does the program go to detect trends?

    I wish I had extra $$$ right now, my old fleet of athlon systems are struggling to keep on going......

    But I am almost all out in SOB.........

    Have 2 lonely P3-600's and 1 1700XP which I have overclocked to 2000xp+ 1.73Ghz..... That poor old processor just keeps on cranking them out.......

    Boy I wish I didnt have to travel so much, I could use that gas money to build at least 2 systems a month.. Will one GOOD system a month......
    But I guess I need my job.....

    I hope my little output in US-Distributed is putting a dent in catching Free-dc......
