    the clock of the forum seems to be 7 minutes behind real time

    It is 5:30 pm and the forum watch shows 5:23 pm (GMT+2)

    Yeah same here. 16:37 when its actually 16:44.

    I have a (nightly) ntpdate call in my /etc/crontab to keep my boxen in sync with the world.

    Fixed it. Didn't realise ntpd hadn't been running since the memory upgrade.

    All Windows box should sync with a time server if you set it up.

    Just double click on the clock at the bottom right side of the screen and out pops a dialog box. Go to Internet Time tab and check the "Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server".

    Found it!!! Apparently, it was synchronized about 24 hours ago without my knowledge.(I have a permanent connection to the Internet)

    Now that I know it's accurate to the second, I'm going to adjust my watch to agree with it.
