    Need Help SONY PCV-1122

I have a Sony 2.6Ghz HT computer here that came without its restore disk.

    Its a Sony PCV-1122 series Model RZ32G

Sony doesnt support it anymore so a restore disk from them is a no go.

I really need the restore disk to get the video capture going again.

I have looked for software on their site to download to get the system back running, but they have hardly anything to download....

Does anyone have one of these systems?

Do you know anyone who might have one?

I am willing to pay for burned DVD of the factory restore DVD..

    Anyone?

Thanks for taking the time to read this....

    Jeff

Check to see if Sony made this third party. I have a Lite-On SOHW-1633S DVD Dual Layer RW for my computer but bought it OEM and it's actually made by Sony. See if maybe it was 3rd party produced and if a primary restore CD may work?

I have downloaded all the drivers and updates.
But they dont give the programs i need, like the video capture program, and so on......
Thats the real problem, I have the system up and running no problems, but no software for the little goodies that came with it.......
I found the software and drivers for the video capture, but they wanted $299.99 for it......
The only way I can by pass this is maybe looking at the specs of the restore disks that they do have to see if 2 or 3 of them combined would work, but then I also run into problems that the restore will overwrite files from the other restore disks.....
Catch 22 here, but programs, spend over what 2 new systems would cost.
Find someone with the factory restore disk, Shot in the dark....
Or patch it together like it is and hope that the owner is happy enough, even when I told them that I dont have access to the factory restore disk.....
