New client available for Windows as of 11/26/06. Other OS versions seem to be slowly coming available.
From distributedcomputing.info:
version 2.9013.498 of the distributed.net client is available for most major platforms as of November 26, 2006. This version includes an optimized OGR core that is faster on AMD processors.

The only change is:
I just did a quick benchmark on my single core 3700+:2.9013-499 imp: x86: Faster OGR MMX cores (1-3%, depending on CPU)
v498:
(new) v499:OGR-P2: Benchmark for core #4 (GARSP 6.0-asm-rt1-mmx-amd)
0.00:00:17.89 [32,357,406 nodes/sec]
It appears to be about a 1% improvement, but this is small enough to just have been a difference of system usage whilst the benchmarks were running (even though I left it as idle as possible).OGR-P2: Benchmark for core #4 (GARSP 6.0-asm-rt1-mmx-amd)
