This might be related. I'm having trouble uploading my results. The upload fails, the client says NO RESPONSE FROM SERVER

    In error.log is this:

ERROR: [010.003] {taskapi.c, line 1199} [ReadServerResponse] Timeout waiting for response, got 0 chars.

    Is the server too busy?

It is quite possible you did not make as many structures as you think you did. Where exactly did you get those numbers from?

I'm having a hard time uploading results as well, it is going very slow and often times out so I have to restart the upload process. It could just be that since it is Monday morning and everyone is back to work there is a larger number of people than usual trying to upload structures???

You cannot use progress.txt to tell you how many structures you have made. The only reliable way to tell how much work your machines have done is to count the number of fold*.bz2 files that have accumulated on your machine since your last upload and multiply this by the upload frequency (which you either specify with the -s option, else use the defaults).

Progress.txt is good when you start at zéro from new starting after sending.
is not my first sending, and i anderstand this programme.
and i no that the file of 210ko that the 5000 point résult
    10 off this file=50.000 point

EX: when i start my upload.bat is show me 1/78 to send
78=390.000 that my 388.400 and i never stop this DF ,this computer make only DF

I will look more closely into the stats after tomorrows update. It is possible that when the connection times out, unwanted things happen as I'm not 100% what happens when the connection to the CGI from the client is broken, if the CGI finishes running or what (anyone know this or how to check?) - I believe it still finished but not certain.

I can't upload, too. 909 write error or something was displayed on the screen when I took a look at my client this morning.

I got this Status 909 Error too while trying to upload my nonet results today. It will upload 2 results and prompt this error and the stats does not even refelect this 2 uploaded results at all. I am using this -df -u t switch.

I too am having this problem, AND the server is eating the results I do manage to upload I have 20mb of shrubs to send nightly, on dial up, and I really don't have time to sit and watch for 3 hours or more to make sure they are all going through, or that the server hasn't disconnected me. I'm dreading having a client that creates twice as much work to upload at the moment..

    Ni!
Oh, what sad times are these when passing ruffians can say Ni at will to old ladies..

    message from CASP5

my friend has managed to upload work but the stats server is not updating/recording the results sent in

    regards

Yes - same over here. Status 909 structure write error is reported. One of the results file sets is APPARENTLY uploaded (or simply deleted) and no stats increase is detected.
