This has been repaired (again).
We now have an estimated date for the new back-end of August 19. It should not suffer from this same problem of pseudo-random crashing at 4-5am.
It appears that our old database decided to play one last trick before we change to the new backend, and crashed. If you are getting STATUS 905 USER HANDLE NOT FOUND, or it claims that your e-mail does not exist, those messages are due to the database crash. It will be fixed ASAP, so please be patient with us. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Out of curiosity, (can you even tell me) what database back-end are you using? And what will the new one be?
Of course, I understand if you can't say (and I think I remember you saying before that you couldn't post anything about stuff like network topology -- don't know if this falls under that or not), but if you can, I'd be interested in knowing.
In any case, thanks for fixing this one in the meantime!
