Whacked some CPU'age on this
Save my place. I'll be back after EON. It's gonna be a week or more before all my WU's earn credits here, anyway!
HOME: A physical construct for keeping rain off your computers.
I to am getting more and more nodes upgraded and pushing this project every day
It's a bit hard to get any wingmen in Linux, many crunch hours lost here.
Hope the admins get the feeder/validator or what it is working
Just tried an Opteron/Linux and half of the WU's got a wingman, thats promising
Well Keep at it It is the only way to get ahead
Maybe the Amins will see our increase in production and pump in more W/U's

Seems I'm getting wingmen now in Linux on both Intel and AMD
Well not on the Barton "unknown CPU typ" but that's a slow one anyway.
Here we go
Blah..pending credits are piling up again, seems like my X2 and opty have no friends in the world
Well it looks like we will only have one Turkey on the plate this year the other one got scared away
Woot 68K for me today
Must be back credit
144K for the team
Well, I put my X2, and duallie on it 24/7, so hopefully that will help out a little bit!
THE MORE I WORK ON MY COMPUTERS,THE MORE HAIR I LOSE!!
I'm running Cosmology@Home and Sudoku on a Linux AMD with a cpu and motherboard I won a couple Christmases ago. I missed the last party because of forgetfulness. I mostly use it for web surfing, in terms of day-to-day usage, but I barely keep track of it's BOINC work at all.
Doesn't it seem odd that the two computers I track the most in terms of DC are the two that I seldom use for anything else?
Btw, the ones I track are running ecm for the Odd Perfect Number Search(a perfect number is a number whose factors add up to the number itself. 6=1+2+3 28=1+2+4+7+14 There are 44 known, all even, and the even ones correspond to the 44 known Mersenne primes through the equation [2^n-1][2^[n-1]] with n being the prime exponent of the various Mersenne numbers.) The ecmer is a Core 2 Quad Ubuntu machine at 2.4GHz. I also have 2.8GHz dual-core Pentium-D Windows XP machine which is running research on the Collatz conjecture.(for info on that Google '3x+1', the link with the name eric buried in the URL is the actual project, but the other links have good info)
Congrats on 1M Lauren..

Bok I hope you got your goggles on I am due to blow past you in about 9 days Please secure all lose objects near and about you and tie down all PC's
I would hate to have them picked up by my Rocket exhaust
I should be back up to 99.9% power by tomorrow Lets' see what it will do at FULL power
I will only have 1 PC offline (in the shop right now)
Way to go laurenu2
Me put on a new quadie in a mATX board and not much overclocked but it's a cheap setup and these puppies really do some work

wingmen? what wingmen all of Free-DC are your wingmen
I complained about my X2/Linux on their forum and now everything looks fine

Ya we are rolling right along. And we are keeping up with teams 10 X our size when we only have 14 members working this
OK, I can't resist a takeover battle.
I got 2 boinc machines finishing off some Rosetta and WCG units then going onto fulltime Cosmology. Should be around 5 Ghz to man the battlements. Not big cannon till I get this damn house finished then I can divert some income towards some quads when the newer ones come out and pass on the old X2s to the kids to continue with some DC. In need of some new raid5 setups as well as the video servers are getting a bit tight on space so may also save some cash on not using expensive raid cards and just go with the chipset available raid5's on the newer X35 and X38 chipsets. Need to test one out tho' unless somebody's got some figures on them. Just hating to see the price of the new drams just now and that upgrade is gonna hurt but I guess things will maybe balance out a bit.
Like an ol` 8086, slow but serviceable.
