According to someone that plugged his PS3 40gb model into a Kill-a-watt unit, while running Folding@Home and the screen saver active, stated around
140 watts giving ~900 points per day.
I tested my PS3 and found Kill-a-watt unit reading
114 watts while running OGR ~20T per day and
113 watts while running RC5 3,300 blocks per day

Impressive stuff, those custom racks looks quite tidy!

To be honest all I have done with my PS3 is get YDL on it, copy over the dnet files and start them off in quiet mode via ssh. It is still sitting in the middle of my desk with power and ethernet... if it was not so quiet and cool, I might have made a little tidier

The 360 downstairs really does sound like a jet engine by comparrison

    Cheers for the recommendation IB!

I love how quiet they run.

The PlayStation 3 has been climbing steadily in the statistics, and currently
stands as the 3rd largest CPU architecture in RC5-72,
    as measured by daily contribution
    http://stats.distributed.net/misc/platformlist.php?project_id=8&view=yc>
    and 5th overall
    http://stats.distributed.net/misc/platformlist.php?project_id=8&view=tc>

Can someone find the OGR links for the above?
