Agent Smith was right!: "I hate this place. This zoo. This prison. This reality, whatever you want to call it, I can't stand it any longer. It's the smell! If there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink and every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by it."

With the RAM switch, it appears to the be the fastest ever (though it has been a while since the start, don't quote me on that).

Please keep the benchmarks coming in, I am gonna collect them again. Hopefully get a large sample and then one more large sample on one of the remaining CASP5 proteins (since it was extended) and maybe there will be enough data for smart hardware folks to make some useful analysis.

    Or not.

Now this is interesting....2 machines running almost identical specs except one is Win2K pro and the other is XP Pro. Both are dual XP1800's and the clients are installed as a service. I have XP Pro set to optimise for services and 2K set to optimise for applications.

This computer has 256 Mb of RDRAM and is used for lots of other stuff (e.g. typing this)

This setup (RDRAM) was much more competitive before the extram ram switch came along...
