I'll get a couple quads on it.
Lauren, don't need the whole pharm, just a few quads would probably do the trick.
We are less than 30 days from taking the next rung in the ladder on OGR.
OGR finishes in ~6 months, we should maintain pressure there...

Once OGR is finished Rosetta will become my new home project where I'll leave nearly everything running most of the time. I don't really have anything that I can move over at the moment though.

How much more power do we need to hold them off?

Let's see what the above gets us, then we'll have a pretty good idea.

    Thanks All!!

Trying to round up a few extra boxes myself

I don't have the firepower of the old days though
and it's still limited to health related projects.

Any of the new projects in health/biology area look promising?

Life has been busy lately, but didn't want TeAm AnandTech to pass us without a fight

    I've pulled

a quad from NQueens, always up for a wish I had more power to be a heavyweight instead of a featherweight.

Looking at the numbers I think we need a bit more power pointed here to stave AT off
Or am I the only one that can add upside down

I've added a bit, once my cahce of nqueens wu's winds down anyway..

will add a bit more tomorrow.

Not sure it will help as TA have a well established group of crunchers putting out some steady numbers in R@H though..

Not going to get in between THOSE two, but I'll lend the effort a couple of gigahertz to help out.

Well I've got all I can run, running on R@H - I might stop running SoB on the same machine and just let the other machine do that and up the CPU Usage %..

It's probably worth mentioning that it may be advisable for big farm owners to configure their work unit length to be as long as possible (24 hours) to reduce server load and bandwidth. It's a global change in your Rosetta preferences, so you don't have to reconfigure each client.

Also, there may be scientific advantages to letting a work unit run longer.

It's not just the stats. The server program rah-validator-beta is not running. I've posted a complaint. I'll run the project again after my stuck WU's get credited.

Has been fairly reliable. They did update the new miniRosetta application (smaller code and does more) so maybe that caused problems.

They do seem to be actually accomplishing things in health/biology area here so that is why I stay.

There is also a Rosetta game in beta right now that you can sign up to try. Maybe someday I'll have time to check it out

Rosetta was our home/favorite/most interested in, project for Free-DC.
We got off on some other projects to kick some butt, working hard in OGR for instance.
If they pass, it won't be for too long.
OGR is over in ~6 months, we have about ~28 days to take the next rung in the ladder.
Some power is being moved back to Rosetta slowly...

I got my feet wet & onto page 1 of the stats. Back now to Proteins@Home for a few days. I'll be back in force as soon as I rack up a few more points over there.

Well did you get them Back online again
I could add a lot more cores But that would really degrade my output in OGR
I pulled 80K off OGR to help in here

It looks like we only need 10K a day more in output to hold them back

Yes, both quads are back on Rosetta full time.
PS3s stay on OGR till that project ends.
