    Rosetta Results

A couple of papers have recently been published based on results from Rosetta.

An abstract from the Science article

"This paper describes the computational design of new catalysts for chemical reactions. Among the many applications are removal of toxic compounds in the environment (bioremediation), making much easier difficult steps in the synthesis of drug molecules, and the generation of new biofuels." - David Baker

An abstract from the Nature article

I also found this blog on another article last night

The new mini Rosetta client is going to be used for CASP8 this summer (they won CASP7)

They will also start to use Rosetta for Drug candidate docking soon

Nice to see that our crunching is doing some good

This is sure good to see. I remember how disappointed we all were after working so hard on DF & they got clobbered in CASP.
