There is now a windows client which has the options for changing the amount of intermediate blocks. This is version 2.5.07.
I've verified that all of the clients return the proper results, so that's all good.
I'll see what I can do in regards to enabling the option of transmitting every X blocks in the windows client.
I still wouldn't recommend deploying the client widely, as there will be a non beta build of it in the future once we know it's stable and everything is happy. However, if people want to do some more testing in regards to speed that'd be great. Also, testing the client on the new supported operating systems would be nice.

Out of curiosity, do the beta clients use v25 gwnum math libraries?
Any indication on when the new batch of clients will come out of beta?
I've been running the Linux betas since they came out and all seems to be gold.
