    I DO Love Weekends

Weekends are great! All the regular users stop poundin' the keys, and my borged boxen can flex their MUSCLES!

Back in the RED! OH, SCOOFY... Beep, beep, man. Comin' thru!

I'm on my way to harass Dyyryath and Guru.

I'll be joining you. Dunno if it'll be red or not, but found out last night that one of my XP proc machines wasn't crunching at all!!!!!

Well, he's merrily on his way again, and I believe that all boxen are crunching strong and hard. Maybe look for a dump from me later today/tomorrow

How about instead adding a machine or two per day???

That'd be much cooler to see.

WHATEVER the color, come on & let's get him. He thinks he's so damn fast 'cause he's up so high.

I think it's just lack of oxygen.

Friendly wave to Scoofy12. "I'd stop and chat, but I don't know how this thing works!"

Well, my dump has begun. However, to catch Dyy it's gonna take several more machines than what I've got currently... But here's to dreaming

Thanks Shaman! However..... for some reason, the client stopped itself on the 15th (only about 3 days worth of running)... Something about having too many files cached or some such BS. Hopefully though, I'll have an even bigger dump next time to try and keep you at bay

    Bigger one next time, huh.

Methinks it's time to put this shiny new P4 2.4B in service
Gibs. They're not just for breakfast anymore.

Hey, D.P., are you running with the -df option? If not, that would explain the stoppage.
Running out of disk space would be a major suspect also.

It's being run via dfGUI, and I have the no-network option checked, so I believe so. I don't think it ran out of disk space, but it also wasn't something that I checked. I will have to make sure that I do check that next time I get up there....

I just went back & checked the DF docs to be sure. Using the nonet option does NOT automatically invoke extra disk buffering.

Without dfGUI, you have to specifically add the -df.

With dfGUI (great program!), you have to check "Increase Buffer Size". Check it to be sure!

I believe that it's checked as well, but I'll check it as soon as I can get back up there...
