    Client unexpectedly shut down

    I am running the client on a new box with XP Home on it and just got an error as follows:

    ERROR: [777.000] {ncbi_socket.c, line 989} [SOCK::s_Connect] Failed pending connect to www.distributedfolding.org:80 (Unknown)
    ERROR: [777.000] {ncbi_connutil.c, line 640} [URL_Connect] Socket connect to www.distributedfolding.org:80 failed: Unknown
    ERROR: [000.000] {foldtrajlite.c, line 4734} Error during upload: NO RESPONSE FROM SERVER - WILL TRY AGAIN LATER

    My settings for the client are as follows:
    foldtrajlite -f protein -n native -qf -df -it -rt

    I did have the cable from the XP box to the modem unplugged when the error occurred because I had to upload some stored work from my old box that is running off line.

    The end result of this was that the client shut down.

    I thought that it would just keep running until the next upload and send my que'd results on their merry way like with Win 98. What do I have to change to prevent this from happening again?

    Duhh

    I removed the -it switch and all is well. Brain farts are a bad thing.

    Can't find anything about an -it switch in the readme. Perhaps you mean -i f (offline mode) - that should have a space between i and f.
