    SIMAP Workunits Available

New Workunits: the calculation of similarities and features of approx. 250.000 new sequences, that were imported from protein databases into SIMAP in January, will start in the evening (UTC) of February 1st.
The February workunit have been released for processing. 250,000 workunits is only going to last 4-5 days!

We are currently languishing in 45th place If you have some spare capacity this week please give it over to SIMAP.

    Welcome aboard Alpha!

    Thanks for your support

The workunits are going very fast - the February batch is already 22% complete!

Any more boxen would really help.

I've only got my C2D on it but it should help a bit. Got lots pending at the moment.

    Let's do what we can!

Thanks IB, that is really going to help us

I like SIMAP, the apps are all optimised and the credits are equal across all platforms. A good example for other BOINC projects to follow.

I only wish they had more work (February batch is 29% complete).

    Flipping heck!!

SIMAP has already run out of work!! Just how many boxes did you add IB?

The stats on the site are updated real time but I think SIMAP only refresh their stats exports once a day.

The Free-DC page on SIMAP is at http://boinc.bio.wzw.tum.de/boincsim...=expavg_credit

    Just returned my last workunit

Still got a few thousand credits stuck in pending so I didn't do too bad this month.

    Great work from everybody
