    Aqua CUDA wu's

I spent a little time a few days ago setting up my 3 remaining GPU's to work on CUDA wu's for Aqua. Needed to use the CUDA 2.1 drivers on the linux 64bit boxen, though windows worked with the 2.2 ones. Anyways they seem to be chugging along and are much faster than the regular wu's, but still in the 10-15 hour range. Getting ridiculous amounts of credit for them though...

Got a couple of machines down due to failed 9800GT's, though could bring one of them back up with a normal video card , haven't got round to it yet. Might try and pick up a 260 this week. Seems more and more projects are using the GPU - DrugDiscovery are testng it too.

Got an EVGA260 arriving tomorrow so will try and get my PhenomII boxen setup with that. Also means I can move a video card over to another box which is down so I'll get 8cores and the 260 running again...

I've got a MONSTER Aqua CUDA Wu due to finish early tomorrow.. Currently it's sitting at close to 3 days runtime (on the GPU only!) indications from the boards say I could get 200K or more for that alone....

    No new wu's available yet..

I've got no idea WTF is going on with my aqua hosts now..

2 mostly identical machines running Linux x86-64 both with 9800GT CUDA cards. one has completed about 18 tasks today got a total of > 1M points whilst the other appears to be running similar tasks but is showing a 7 day turnaround..

Standard clients on both. And now, I've been accused a cheater, though I can't say I blame them for thinking it

Hopefully the admins can sort it all out, seems like a bit of a mess.

People fail to realize that all OS or programs my not install or run the same on every motherboard
And that my holds true even with all the same components.

I can see differences within my Pharmage too . And I buy cluster of the same stuff.

One of the batch will do 30 to 50% more WU then the others.

So I would not worry about it

Just had a read of that thread you linked to.
Seems there is quite a bit of cheating going on.

    Client is also badly behaved.
Clearly one of your boxes isn't actually doing any work but claiming credit as though it had.

Credit granted is also very high so i can see folks doing this one for the easy cobblestones.

Project needs to zero the stats and go on hold till the client is fixed.

yup. I made admin aware of my box, but kept it running so they can keep looking into it. I know they are pretty busy trying to fix all the issues. Fully expect my scores to be wiped out and that's fine with me

At least they are trying to fix the problem. There are lengthy exchanges on the boinc lists about it...
