Great, it'll stop software pirating!
That would take away our rights! I'm against it!
Couldn't care less

they contradict themselves! They say a backdoor wouldn't have a chance, as the operating system would be changed and so wouldn't function:
What about freeware? What about programmes that don't have the liscence to run under TCPA or Palladium? What about small companies that can't afford the liscence, and what about countries that America hates and won't sell liscences to?If, however, a hacker successfully attacks the client, and installs a back door, or keyboard monitoring software, the TCPA system will notice that the operating system has changed, and will not release the key, thus protecting the sensitive files from attack.
I say: to Microsoft and the other 200 companies supporting TCPA

I'm not sure I'm ever going to get tired of reading Anarchy99's posts. It's like he's had about 10 to many cups of coffee every time he posts.
I'm pleased to see that I'm not the only one against TCPA/Palladium. I thought it might be possible at the beginning that I would be flamed and told that I'm talking a load of rubbish
Great! Carry on spreading the word against TCPA!
I'm not steadfastly against it yet, but I am far from convinced that it's going to be a good thing.
I need to spend more time with the whitepapers and gain a deeper understanding of it before I make any kind of opinion.
i'm with dyy on that. maybe someday i'll actually look at some good info on it.
This should help...Originally posted by Dyyryath
