We atleast need a version on the client

that will run without that stupid reg key.

We can use other pieces of software to make this program a service, but we need the program to start crunching on bootup.

Is there any way to work around this without a new client?

I recently got it up and running as a service with Firedaemon. Nebob coded up a small program (it is only like 20 lines of code) to start the client, hit "start" and then close itself. I have it running well with FireDaemon.

I could not get it to run acceptably otherwise (without that little launcher program nebob wrote) though others claim to have done so.
