    Question can the logging be filtered somehow?

    I regularly look at the log and when a test is finished I remove the intermediate stuff, leaving just the residue, test completed and test received lines

    But if there has been some problem I leave the relevant lines in of course. Now with the new client there are even more lines that I - quite frankly - would rather do without, so;

    is there a way to stop the program putting these lines in the log ? Example:

    [Sat Jun 07 20:02:56 2003] resolving hostname
    [Sat Jun 07 20:02:56 2003] opening connection
    [Sat Jun 07 20:02:56 2003] receiving from server
    [Sat Jun 07 20:02:56 2003] logging into server
    [Sat Jun 07 20:02:57 2003] login successful

    five lines for each block = a damn long log ....

    i'm sorry for the hassle. the reason the client logs so much is because if something goes wrong, it will be possible to figure out which call is failing.

    i think the networking hangs are totally gone, but i left all the messages in just as insurance so that anyone who found a real problem would actually be able to help me fix it.
