What message do you get when you try to run Boinc ?
No messages. It just doesn't do anything. I go to the Boinc folder and then click on boincclient or boincmanager and it does nothing.

Not executable perhaps? Check it's properties.
Can you get to a command prompt and cd to that folder then try to run ./boinc and see what that does?
can you type
ldd boinc
and show the results?
I'll try it Monday at work.

I've scrapped the Fatdog idea. It seems that when running it from a USB stick, everytime you restart you have to reinstall the Nvidia drivers and Boinc. Way too much work for this Idoit. Thursday I'm going to try again using Dotsch64. I've run it in the past and will just have to update the drivers and update Boinc to 7.0.8. Just think, all this trouble just to get ahead of Lauren on this project. If it works, I'll do a bunch of USB sticks to get all my Nvidias crunching here and in case I run across any project that is Linux only.

If they can keep the work coming, it won't take too long. It will be interesting to see if you can stay ahead on both projects.
BTW it looks like we both had a good day over at Milkyway. The 12 hours of double credit really helped.
