P-1 coordination thread

OmbooHankvald has made a great FAQ for the newbie factorer, but it is just slightly out of date.
If you've ever wondered about how to factor, this is a great place to start.
You do not need to use makewtd anymore. The second post in this thread has zip files containing the input needed for Prime95.
Just copy the ranges you need from the appropriate file and put them in your worktodo file.
The worktodo lines attached in the next two posts are intended for use with Prime95 (The program of choice for P-1 factoring)

Examples of the worktodo:

Pminus1=21181,2,16003700,1,130000,2200000
where
Pminus1=k,2,n,1,B1,B2

Cut and paste the lines corresponding to your reservation into your worktodo.ini file.
