    Client differences by OS

I'm just curious, but is there a reason why the Windows client only had to go through 10,000 structures in gen. 0, while the BeOS client is having to do 30,000?
Maybe they put the heavier workload on the better OS?

The CASP6 proteins were all 30k structures for the first gen. If the new protein is only 10k, I'm guessing they forgot to update the BeOS one today?

I don't think so: my Be machines are all calculating 88 AA proteins, just like the Windows boxes. Probably just a glitch in the update, forgot to set the limit to 10k?

If the BeOS folks start getting the lowest scores, then there'll be a number of folks begging for their 30k starts..

Indeed you are correct, the BeOS version mistakenly had the larger generation 0 size. A fixed package has been made available on the downloads page or here
