    Service Vs Normal

    Next guestion:

Does anyone know if the client runs any quicker as a service than if it is run as the normal text client in quiet mode?

It shouldn't. If it does, it's negligible.

The real difference is that when your machine reboots, no one has to login and start the client. It runs no matter who is logged in and also if no one is logged in.

I stopped rebooting once I migrated to 2K. A total of 8 OC'd GHz running 24/7 really does keep the gas bill down in the cold days.
