    Should We Redesign?

    Some people have suggested it, and to be honest, I'm getting a little tired of the 'same old' look around here.

    So let's hear it? What do the masses think?

    I think you should bring back the 'heavy metal' thing you came up with the 1st time.
    I still love it

    The forum should stay pure text, with as little graphics as possible to keep the information folks are looking for very snappy.
    I also agree that a fresh new look using colors for the forum is a good idea.

    BTW, someone widened the EDIT box here, and it's too wide by about an inch, on a 21" monitor at 1024x768.
    What folks were complaining about was the EDIT box on the DF forum was too small and should be widened to match what we WERE using up until about 2 days ago.

    But nothing is to be done until you finish the PXE setup over here

    You are seriously wasting that beautiful 21" monitor there IB

    Here's the reason people are complaining:

    That is from the official DF forum.

    FWIW - It's about an inch too wide on a 19" flat panel at 1280x1024, too.

    For me it's perfect with 1280x1024! And I have a messenger on the right border of the screen...

    Give ColinT a welcome-back- didn't see you for some months!

    I've been tinkering with a new design over the last week or so. I'm not entirely pleased with it yet, but I'll probably put up an example sometime Sunday to see what everyone thinks...

    Hi Dyyryath,

    On what ever theme is decided upon, how 'bout place for links to various stats sites and monitoring software (I was thinking that maybe it would be nice to have all of these in one place for easy access, maybe in a table type format with hyperlinks in the cells to the stats sites/monitoring software that support a project?)

    rows = software/stats site
    column = project

    Just an idea.

    P.S. how do you pronounce your nick? Is it Dire Wraith?
