malcomhfc shows up now as number 18 and 19. What has happened?

Judging by the fact that the 19th-placed account has the exact same number of points as the 18th-placed account, and that the 19th-placed one no longer has any projects associated with it (but still a combined score), I'm assuming it's a CPID merge/change that left a ghost account behind.
it is a split cpid, second one is a ghost account. I've deleted it out, once cache expires it'll disappear and on next updates it'll correct the rankings.
