Just to stop all the speculation and rumors.

Apparently someone else wanted the statsman.org domain so bad that they used one of those domain snipping sites to get it the moment that it was available. Therefore, I no longer have the statsman.org domain.

In light of this and other personal matters (like trying to keep my job during more layoffs at my company, stock ticker LU) I am going to take a break from distributed computing for a while.

Keep up the good work here at [H]ardOCP, I suspect I will be back sometime.

    This is truly sad
Randy, thanks for ALL the hard work keeping the stats for us !

It just wouldn't have been the same during the 'old' days when it was Ars vs [H]
    in Genome and Folding@Home wars.

Don't stay gone too long now ya hear?

    Well that's extremely unfortunate.

It is sad to see a great asset and member of the DC community leave, but I wish you luck on your new life!

It may take a little time to get everything working again. The important thing is that he's decided to bring back statsman.

I appreciate all the sentiments that have been voiced in this thread and others. Thanks for the support and the good wishes. I know alot of people have used and even rely on the statsman.org site. I don't know if this arrangement with Wiebo will work for the long run, but for now we will do what we can to get at least the Stanford projects (folding and genome) stats up on the statsman.info domain.

For now, the Folding stats will update every 12 hours.

Donate to this dude and to Dyyryyath...let's keep this from happening again.

Thanks Randy for the wonderful stats you "have" given to us for the past few years anyways! I have always used your stats for the overall picture of things and your expertise with the graphs has always amazed me.

    Here's to your needed rest . . .

Erm, Jammy, I don't know if you recognized that, but you can still use the statsman-stats! The link just changed... new linkage: http://www.statsman.info/

AFAIK he just stopped crunching but he didn't stop providing the stats...
