Exclamation We need to ramp it up a bit

Ars have found 22 crunchers again from their low point. We on the otehr hand have 3-4 back and crunching and 1 new addition.

It is pretty nip and tuck at the moment so a little ramping up wouldn't hurt just to push them towards another front page pimp.

I will have another 2.4ghz box on Friday to add to the borging of the training room (8 PIIs)

So should be up to a reasonable amount of crunching.

Lets all look for a few more GHZ to stretch them arsians whilst their lead guy is out of action.

I say hit 'em whilst they are down and do it hard.

we will stay ahead in the weekly production #'s , even if they occasionally win a day here and there , they won't beat us on the weekly #'s

Yeah, it's pretty close, but we're hanging in there.

I bet they never expected we'd still be leading Phase 2 this long after the stats were reset, eh?

    Smile

Put another 1.4Ghz online yesterday and a 1.6 two weeks ago. I'm tapped out but everything I have is running DF.

Sorry it isn't more. Glad to be a part of the team tho.

Lightbulb I think we have to learn

from the last pimp they did.

Only FoBoT bring over his 40 million points got us where we are now.

We cannot rely on the same thing happening the next time they get hold of 30 plus new users.

I say we quietly hit them hard now and move to about a 50 mill gap as soon as is practicable.

I would refrain from baiting them on the front page (naughty boy Dyyryath)

    Just my ten cents.

Whatever happens I feel well at home with you guys n gals so I'm full on to keep us up where we belong.

We can only hope that large amounts of TSF live near enough to the east coast to get their power knocked out. Last I checked, I think Dyy lived over here, but then again my brain could be frozen again.

Just dumping what production happenend between the server stopping and my power stopping...

Not drying out fast enough, damn it. But we did make on the ABC's nightly news!

I'm here in spirit and with one part time box that I can't find.

    Thumbs down Update

We are now 1.5 million plus down on the day and the lead over the last week has been cut to 5.6 million.

Unless someone has some major dumpage in reserve it is starting to look worrying.

Ars have 2 newer big crunchers

    Magnon and Cecilstrange.

Once biguinto1 gets back up to full speed we will be very hard pushed to match them on the daily production.

    Any ideas guys n gals.

Perhaps we should begin a large campaign to pimp JT.

Exclamation Another update for those not checking

Keeping pace on the daily just about, but...

the weekly lead is now down to 3 million. This has been erroded from 8 million last week.

I was hoping we could get into the 34-40 million lead but we are only 28 million up as it stands now.

I have borged another 2.4ghz box today by using JoeproCoolings excellent batch files.

Running out of boxen to borg though.

There are a few people that have recently acquired a nice ORANGE glow: Fozzie and Corwin.

Now Fozzie we all know, but I don't recall hearing anything about Corwin recently, or at all, for that matter. A mysterious sleeper that has recently awakened? Anyone "got the scoop"?

    Hello all,

New to Distributed Folding, but not new to distributed computing. Been crunching Seti WU's
since early 2000, along with Genome@home since November 2002.

Don't expect tons from me though. Just a single processor Linux box with a 1Ghz PIII. Won't
make the top ten, but hope to add steady contributions.

    Welcome to the new folks.

Corwin, I'm always both bummed and thrilled to see someone catching me. Pass me fast, and put me out of my conflicted misery, eh? <g>

JayGee, one box isn't anything to be sneezed at. That is more than the vast majority of the world is contributing. And, who knows, you might get more boxen.
