not another missing previous gen error....

I have lost over 200 structures by the Missing previous gen error and now I'm a bit frustrated.

The latest one was because of the DF server problem. This problem caused my client to buffer 100+ structures waiting to be uploaded. After the server's back up and the results are uploaded, my stats didn't update, and error.txt shows some Missing previous gen error messages.

Are you on dial-up?

It happens to me too.

Always on upload I start it and IMMEDIATELY check the error log.

If I see the 910 error I drop the dial-up connection straight away.

I have sometimes managed to use

.\foldtrajlite - purgeuploadlist xxxx

Look into the error log to see when the first 910 popped up.

Replace the xxxx with as low a number as the error log suggests you can get away with.

PM me your handle and I'll bung it on a couple of boxen to make up for your loss.

Thanks for the offer, but I've decided to stop DFing until this problem is completely solved. I know Howard has announced that he fixed this problem, but I still get this error.

For the meantime, I'll crunch for different projects, maybe Find-a-drug or back to Folding@Home.
