    WTF?

I left my systems on while I was away...the dual box had two 25K+ dplist files that for some reason hadn't transmitted..yes I use -xmit

I'm hoping for that file size it will be enough to kick us into #23rd place.

Supp, I'm going to do DF for a while to help against KWSN. I'll leave two ECCp's going.

I'm not new to ECCp, but only just joined Free-DC. Im running an XP 1700+ on Win98SE, and a K6-2 400 on FreeBSD 4.5-STABLE (part-time). My last flush was about 90 or so because I forgot to flush all day

    Hello Chinasaur and Ironbits

Forgot to mention in my last post, I also have a 50MHz 486 working on ECCp but I guess it isn't really worth mentioning since it is hardly ever powered up and hasn't yet found a single DP

Unfortunately I don't really have any more boxen to contribute with, unless I get my old P100 back in action. So basically, just expect me to continue crunching at a steady rate, and watch your back

    Lets kick some ass!

http://ucsub.colorado.edu/~brazier/p...s/eccp109w.zip is fastest. Its faster than any other optimized client on all the boxes I've tried it on.

Don't copy and paste that URL as it appears to have been truncated, just click it (or copy/paste the link address).

    alpha's right - it's THE fastest.
If you borg some machines (for example) and want to hide client (Win), use StatsAholics - it's little slower, but invisible. Users don't see it and don't tamper with it (like "What is that?" "I don't know, but I'll shut it down..." )

But if you want best speed, use above indicated ... happy crunching.

cygwin1.dll comes with the statsaholic clients, but you can grab it here http://bane.free-dc.org/downloads/eccp/cygwin1.zip

As long as it is in the same dir as the executable (or c:\$windir\system), it should have no problem.

The link I pasted (in previous post) and the statsaholic client(s) are actual replacement clients. i.e. they are independant executables and are not meant for use in conjunction with the official client, or any other application for that matter.

It worked in $windir\system for me, so I assumed it would for others.

Could you plz describe exactly what happened (if the cl. was running, counting but not doing any DPs or what..) ?

Anyway, if SA's clients work for you, that's fine, they're just 1% or so slower..

I've decided to try ECCp for a bit. Got the first box crunching on one of the optimized clients, and uploaded the first 30 or so DPs.

How often do the stats update? The write-ups don't say anything about it.

Evidently I can't add myself to the team until I show up in the stats, so I'm getting impatient!
