I'm 60 miles south west of the fires and safe.
ColinT has to be the closest ! One of the largest fires is just south of where he lives.
It came within about 2 miles of his house !!!

Never seen something like that in Austria
A red sky doesn't look very good... and if you can see only a small point (the sun) in the smoke, that's not so good Al...

Oh man...that is really bad! We are getting alot of coverage of the fires up here. I would imagine that what I see on the news and in the papers doesn't even touch the intensity of it.
